What the SIDExSIDE Social Media Planner collects, why it needs it, how long it keeps it, and how you get rid of it.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. Who is responsible
The SIDExSIDE Social Media Planner (the "Planner"), at https://smp.sxsmedia.dev, is operated by SIDExSIDE Media Development, a division of Dub Works LLC. Dub Works LLC is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.
Questions, requests, or complaints: info@sxsmedia.dev
The Planner is a public, free service, and each account is separate. Every user gets their own workspace. A workspace can only see its own connected channels, media, and posts. Users cannot see one another's data, and that includes us. SIDExSIDE Media Development uses the Planner in its own workspace, on the same terms, with no privileged view of yours.
2. What we collect
Because you gave it to us
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store the plaintext).
- Content you upload: video, images, captions, and the schedule you set for them.
Because you connected a social media account
- Access and refresh tokens issued by the platform, which let us publish on your behalf. We never receive or store your password for any platform. Authorization happens on the platform's own login screen.
- Basic channel identity: the channel or profile name, its ID, and its avatar, so you can tell your connected channels apart.
- Metrics for content published through the Planner, so you can see how a post performed.
Because the service runs
- Operational logs: technical records such as IP address, timestamps, and errors, used to run the service, debug failures, and prevent abuse.
- Essential cookies: used to keep you signed in. The Planner does not use advertising cookies. This website (
sxsmedia.dev) sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
3. What we do with it, and what we never do
We use your data for exactly one purpose, to operate the Planner for you: to publish your content to the accounts you connected, at the times you chose, and to show you the results, plus the security and support work required to keep that running.
We do not:
- sell your data, or share it with data brokers;
- use it for advertising, or build advertising profiles;
- use it to train machine learning or AI models, ours or anyone else's;
- transfer it to others except the service providers listed below, or where the law requires it;
- read your content except where strictly necessary to investigate a fault you reported or a suspected breach of our terms.
4. Google and YouTube data: Limited Use
The Planner's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Concretely: data obtained through Google or YouTube APIs is used only to provide the publishing and metrics features you asked for. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train models, and not transferred to anyone else except as needed to provide the service, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice.
The Planner uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time, without involving us, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The equivalent controls exist in the settings of every other platform we support.
5. How long we keep it
- Uploaded media: deleted automatically on a rolling schedule after upload. This is enforced by a storage lifecycle rule, not by us remembering to do it. The Planner is not an archive; keep your own copies.
- Access tokens: until you disconnect the channel, revoke access at the platform, or delete your account. Then they stop being usable and are removed.
- Account details, captions, and post history: until you delete your account.
- Operational logs: kept for a limited period for debugging and abuse prevention, then rotated out.
6. Who else touches it
We keep this list short on purpose. The Planner runs on infrastructure operated by Dub Works LLC, with:
- IONOS: the server the Planner runs on.
- Cloudflare: object storage for uploaded media, plus network and delivery for our domains.
- The social media platforms you choose to connect: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Discord. When you schedule a post, its content is sent to the platforms you selected, by your instruction. That is the point of the service.
Servers and storage are located in the United States. If you use the Planner from elsewhere, your data is processed in the United States.
7. Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can:
- See and correct your account details inside the Planner;
- Disconnect any channel at any time, from inside the Planner or from the platform's own settings;
- Delete your account and its data: ask at info@sxsmedia.dev;
- Get a copy of the data we hold about you, same address;
- Object or complain: same address, and to your local data protection authority if you are in the UK or EEA.
We aim to answer within 30 days. We do not charge for any of this.
8. Security, stated plainly
Passwords are hashed. Tokens are stored on our server and transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to the server is restricted to Dub Works LLC operators.
No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. The Planner is a free service run on a small team's infrastructure. Use a strong, unique password. Revoke access from the platform's own settings if you stop using it. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Children
The Planner is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to info@sxsmedia.dev and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated or amended at any time, without prior notice. Any revised version will always be made publicly available at this address, with the "last updated" date above reflecting the most recent revision. Where a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will make a reasonable effort to tell users directly.
